Nude Natural-Diamond Stylus

The Goldring 1042 uses a nude, natural-diamond stylus with a Gyger S profile, which closely resembles the record cutting head. This advanced stylus design allows it to trace the smallest groove details with high fidelity, providing accurate mid-range tonality and eliminating high-frequency sibilance. The extended contact of the Gyger S diamond ensures exceptional resolution of fine groove modulations, resulting in a detailed, smooth, and musical sound.

Pocan® Body

The cartridge body is made from Pocan®, a special ultra-rigid, glass-reinforced polyester. This material holds the fixed parts securely and allows the body to be tightly bolted to the headshell for maximum efficiency. The user-replaceable stylus carrier slots tightly into the body, with a locating pin to prevent unwanted vibrations. Additionally, an integral mu-metal can shields the generator parts from stray magnetic fields, enhancing sound quality.
