Elliptical Stylus

The Goldring 1006 features an elliptical stylus that excels at tracing high-frequency grooves more accurately than spherical types. This stylus design offers a lower tip mass, resulting in improved transient response and better sound clarity.

Low Mass Pocan® Body

The cartridge's body is crafted from Pocan®, an ultra-rigid, glass-reinforced polyester. This material ensures the cartridge remains lightweight while providing maximum strength and stability. The one-piece body design allows for secure mounting to the head shell, minimizing unwanted vibrations and enhancing sound quality.

High Efficiency Magnetic Circuit

The 1006 employs a finely etched mu-metal laminated to form the pole pieces, with two formerless coils of four thousand turns each. This unique design reduces mass and creates a highly efficient magnetic circuit, producing a higher output and smoother, extended frequency response compared to conventional designs.

Reduced Moving Mass
