Gyger II Nude Diamond Stylus

The Goldring 1012GX features a Gyger II nude diamond stylus, which is known for its fine-line elliptical shape. With a small radius of 6 µm, it ensures smooth, extended highs and minimal distortion. The advanced diamond tip polishing provides excellent tracking ability, reducing wear on your records and offering a significant upgrade over standard elliptical styli.

Low Mass Pocan® Body

The cartridge body is made from Pocan®, a special type of ultra-rigid, glass-reinforced polyester. This material provides a high strength-to-mass ratio, allowing the overall mass of the cartridge to remain below 6.5 g. The Pocan® body securely holds the fixed parts in place and can be tightly bolted to the head shell, ensuring maximum efficiency and optimal sound quality. Additionally, the user-replaceable stylus carrier slots tightly into the body with a locating pin to prevent unwanted vibrations.

High Efficiency Magnetic Circuit

The 1012GX employs a high-efficiency magnetic circuit design. Finely etched mu-metal is laminated to form the pole pieces, around which are fitted two formerless coils of four thousand turns each. This design reduces mass and makes the magnetic circuit highly efficient, producing a higher than average output. Reduced Moving Mass
