X-Tube Technology

The QED XT3 power cable incorporates a specially adapted version of X-Tube™ technology, which is designed to reduce distortion caused by impedance modulation. The live and neutral conductors are braided into small individual cores that are isolated from adjacent cores, minimizing the proximity effect. This ensures even current flow along the cable at all frequencies.

Practical Design

Despite its high-performance capabilities, the XT3 is designed to be as practical as possible. Only the live and neutral cores receive the X-Tube treatment, leaving the earth core in a conventional geometry. The cable's slim 1.5 mm sq cross-sectional area makes it flexible and easy to install in various setups.

High-Quality Materials

The conductors are made from 99.999% oxygen-free copper, ensuring high conductivity and minimal signal loss. Each bundle is individually insulated with K130 PVC to control capacitance and provide electrical isolation. A hollow LDPE core controls inductance, maintaining the correct phase relationship between voltage and current.
