Detailed Description

Conductor Technology

The EVO3 Ascension employs deeply cryogenically treated conductors, down to -196°C, which enhances the structural integrity of the copper and its electrical properties. This process improves the cable's ability to transfer power with reduced resistance, resulting in enhanced efficiency and performance.

Dielectric Design

IsoTek has developed a dielectric system that nearly matches the performance of a vacuum—the ideal insulator for power cables. Achieved with a combination of air and FEP (Teflon), this design benefits from FEP's low dielectric constant and high electrical insulation, allowing for more efficient power transfer.

Mechanical Construction

The conductors are twisted in a slight rotational configuration, a proven technique for combating electromagnetic interference (EMI). Each conductor is wrapped in Mylar and encased in FEP tubes, further protecting against external noise and maintaining insulation stability.
