Wireless Connectivity

The Q Active 400 offers extensive wireless connectivity, including Bluetooth 4.1, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and UPnP™. It is also Roon Ready, ensuring compatibility with various streaming services such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Qobuz, Spotify, and Tidal. The control hub is 'Chromecast Built-In' and converts physical formats to high-resolution digital files for seamless wireless streaming.

Active Amplification

Each driver in the Q Active 400 system has its own individual amplifier, totaling eight discrete amplifiers with 440 watts of power. This setup allows precise control over each driver, resulting in a more accurate and refined sound than traditional passive systems.

Dynamic Widescreen Sound

The Q Active 400 features Balanced Mode Radiators (BMRs), which deliver exceptional sound quality across a wide listening area. The BMRs operate down to 150Hz, handing over to the subwoofer driver without midrange crossover distortion, ensuring clean and uncolored midrange performance. The offset BMRs can be positioned to the inside or outside of the cabinets for fine-tuning.

Powerful, Controlled Bass

The rear-firing subwoofers of the Q Active 400 provide fast, deep, and organized bass. The dual subwoofers in each speaker are designed for optimal bass response regardless of the speaker's placement in the room, thanks to the fixed 'Wave guide' boundary.
