Detailed Description

Gelcore™ Cabinet Construction

The Concept 30 incorporates Gelcore™ technology, which uses a non-setting gel sandwiched between two layers to dissipate high-frequency vibrations into heat. This reduces unwanted noise and maintains focused audio performance.

Isolation Suspension Base

The isolation suspension base consists of a sprung baseplate with suspension spheres, effectively isolating the cabinet from external vibrations. This design enhances stereo imaging and provides greater depth to the sound.

Aluminium Front Baffle Plate

The drive units are mounted to a 3mm aluminium baffle plate, which is then fitted to the cabinet. This ensures an acoustic seal, dampens vibrations, and minimizes structural coupling, resulting in improved sound quality.

Bi-Wire Terminals

The bi-wire terminals on the rear of the cabinet allow for separate high and low-frequency signals to be transmitted via compatible speaker cables. This minimizes intermodulation distortion and enhances mid-range clarity.

Hermetically Sealed Tweeter

The high-frequency driver is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the front baffle. This reduces distortion and lowers the crossover point, ensuring seamless integration through the crossover region.

P2P™ Internal Bracing

The P2P™ (Point to Point™) internal bracing system reinforces areas of the cabinet susceptible to low-frequency vibrations. This technology uses Finite Element Analysis and laser interferometry to apply bracing precisely where needed, reducing unwanted energy transfer.
