Removes Mains Noise

The V5 Sigmas addresses both Differential Mode and Common Mode mains noise. Differential Mode noise, generated by all electrical devices, includes interference from everyday appliances like microwaves and computers. Common Mode noise, often referred to as RFI, is created by transmitted frequencies from various wireless devices. The V5 Sigmas’ power cleaning circuits effectively reduce these types of noise, ensuring a cleaner power supply to your audio and AV systems.

Sine Wave Correction

IsoTek’s technology ensures that the mains electricity supplied has a stable 50 or 60Hz sine wave, with minimal radio frequency noise. This low impedance source is crucial for maintaining near-constant voltage and reducing fluctuations. The V5 Sigmas' circuits are designed to maintain low impedance and correct for impedance variations well into the audio frequency bands, following strict electrical safety standards.

Multiple Filter System

The V5 Sigmas features multiple power cleaning systems within a single chassis, allowing each connected component to have its own dedicated clean power supply. This setup minimizes Differential Mode noise and prevents electrical noise cross-contamination between outlets, ensuring each device receives optimal power quality.

Independent Sockets

High Grade Components

The V5 Sigmas uses high-grade electrical components, many custom-made, to ensure optimal performance. The PCB designs maintain high levels of amperage with low resistance, utilizing pure silver-plated copper. Internal wiring combines high-purity copper with silver plating and FEP dielectric, or IsoTek’s Virtual Dielectric of Air (VDA), for superior low resistance and high performance.

Surge Protection

The IsoTek V5 Sigmas includes advanced surge protection using an array of VDRs, capable of handling over 100,000A. These devices provide cascading protection, stepping in sequentially depending on the severity of the surge. This system not only protects the connected devices but also assists in maintaining sound quality.

Adaptive Gating

The Adaptive Gating system in the V5 Sigmas adjusts the level of differential filtration based on the connected load, maximizing power filtration while respecting current requirements. This system also prevents Differential Mode noise cross-contamination between outlets, ensuring clean power delivery to each connected device.

K.E.R.P. (Kirchhoff’s Equal Resistance Path)

Solid OCC Copper Ag

The internal wiring of the V5 Sigmas uses ultra-pure Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper with silver plating. This construction provides low resistance and high amperage, with an FEP helix wound around the conductor and an extruded FEP dielectric, creating a Virtual Dielectric of Air (VDA). This design ensures unrivaled performance and optimal power delivery.

Continuous Absolute Power

IsoTek’s V5 Sigmas delivers continuous absolute power with unrestricted current delivery. This design ensures low impedance and low DCR, eliminating any possibility of current restriction and enhancing dynamic range. The filter circuits maintain zero Ohms resistance DC (or very close) and significant AC resistance to noise above 50/60 Hz, ensuring high-quality power delivery.

System Link

The V5 Sigmas includes a System Link outlet, allowing multiple units to be connected while maintaining a star-earthed reference. This feature is useful for expanding the system without requiring additional wall outlet sockets, ensuring consistent power quality across all connected devices.
