Goldring

The Goldring D22GX is the replacement stylus for the Goldring G1022GX cartridge, but it can be combined with any Goldring cartridge from the 1000 series.

The D-22GX stylus uses a vital-shank, nude, diamond stylus. This polyhedral, line-contact diamond profile has a very low tip-mass and a large contact area enabling the undistorted retrieval of ultrasonic frequencies in a recording. A large contact area means that stylus and record wear are reduced and because it plays lower down in the groove than spherical types, older records may well gain a new lease of life.

The Goldring 1000 series has an almost legendary status for delivering some of the best sounds produced by moving magnet cartridges. Because All replacement styli in the Goldring 1000 series are interchangeable, you can upgrade your Goldring 1012 and Goldring 1006 with this stylus.
