The Ortofon DS-3 Digital Stylus Pressure Gauge is a compact, lightweight, and highly precise tool designed for accurately measuring the tracking force of a turntable's stylus. How to Use the DS-3

• Turn on the device by pressing the ON button. The display will show 0000.
• Select the measurement unit by pressing the UNIT button. The default setting is gram (g).
• Measure the stylus pressure by placing the stylus on the measurement plate located on the right side of the device. The display will start blinking. Once the measurement is completed, the display will stop blinking, showing the stylus pressure.
• Power-saving features: The display screen will automatically dim to saving mode after 5 seconds of inactivity and will turn off completely after 60 seconds of inactivity.
• Battery replacement: When the battery is low, a LO indicator will flash on the screen. Replace both batteries when this occurs.
• Using the PCS button: The PCS button allows you to calculate the average weight of a single unit and apply it to the total weight for counting purposes. First, weigh a single unit, then weigh the bundle. Press the PCS button, and the display will show the number of units (PCS).
