Analoc2™ Plug Design

The new Analoc2™ design replaces the metal bodies of traditional plugs with high rigidity thermoplastic material. This change eliminates eddy currents, which can distort audio signals. The plug features hollow, gold or rhodium-plated high-purity copper signal pins, improving the connection and reducing the skin effect.

Ferrite Cord Insulation

The Zn/Mn Ferrite jacket within the cable absorbs high-frequency noise outside the audible band, enhancing the micro-timing of the audio signal. This results in cleaner signal transmission compared to standard interconnects.

Silver Plated Conductors

The Reference Audio 40 uses Silver Plated 99.999% Oxygen Free Copper (SPOFC) conductors. These conductors are protected by a low-loss, low-density dielectric foam Polyethylene (LDPE) jacket, minimizing electrical energy loss and maintaining sound fidelity.

Complementary Conductor Technology

The cable utilizes complementary conductor geometry, employing conductors of different diameters to carry the same audio signal. This design provides an alternative path for high-frequency audio components, preventing time smearing and ensuring accurate signal transmission.
